"We vow to put Readington's best interests first. We will spend every tax dollar wisely, fight Trenton's Affordable Housing mandates, preserve Readington's rural character, and value our municipal employees and volunteers. We will serve all Readington taxpayers."
                                  Ben & Jacqueline

We stand for...

  • Restoring integrity to our municipal government.
  • Fiscal restraint – keeping taxes stable and seeking ways to lower tax bills via new revenue sources while lowering Readington’s debt, including using over $1 million brought in annually via taxation of the Verano facility.
  • Providing Readington residents with high quality services and maintaining our infrastructure, including supporting the 2021 10-year road plan by Van Cleef Engineering to maintain our roads in the most cost-effective manner possible.
  • Supporting the success of our local businesses and bringing new businesses to Readington by adopting an ordinance bringing into law the re-examination of the Township’s Master Plan, which brings 19 new business uses to Readington, including brew pubs, childcare centers, craft distilleries, medical and dental offices, outpatient surgery centers, recreation or sports facilities, small appliance repair, urgent care, and more, and continuing to work on zoning updates to support exciting and needed new businesses.
  • Reducing the impact of Affordable Housing on our Township by engaging with State level representatives and committees. Affordable housing mandates are dictated by State legislation, not local-level empty promises. We have worked to shape State legislation and make Assembly Members and State Senators aware of the impact of Affordable Housing on our rural community, fought for Readington Township at Committee hearings and via communications and in-person testimony with Assembly and Senate representatives, and will continue to do so.
  • Increasing public use of our green spaces and preserving our rural lifestyle, including supporting our Recreation department, which serves both youth and adults, and our various open space, trails, and preservation initiatives.
  • Supporting our dedicated municipal staff and volunteers by supporting pay equity, creating a work environment of support and inclusion, and recognizing our volunteers, who save the Township millions of dollars in unpaid work hours each year.
  • Supporting our Police Department and Emergency Services through funding and by championing their efforts and recognizing their accomplishments.
  • Effective, open communication with our constituents via various sources, including electronic and print media.
  • Restoring the Readington News to keep all residents informed and engaged.
